The Friends Of Boston Castle and Parklands

Boston Park, which is famous locally for its magnificent views (Click here) still attracts numerous visitors,
who also take advantage of a stroll through the adjacent Canklow woods (Click here)

The flower beds in the park are well stocked (Click here) throughout the seasons and the park retains its plesant and peaceful ambiance.

The park however, suffers from the effects of vandalism and at the present time has no security measures to deter off-road bikers and anti social behaviour.

Rotherham MBC have recently employed the services of forest rangers to patrol the park and adjacent woodland. The rangers, together with the recently introduced management programme for the woodland form the basis of an exciting regeneration of Boston Park.
